About us

The history of the restaurant Amici miei, born in Monaco in 1994.

Michele Florentino, his wife and his partner Lucia have brought to the Principality all the flavors of a Venice of other times.

Veal liver Venetian style, sardines in Saor, Polenta... in a very short time, these dishes strike the attention of the most gourmands.

Amici Miei is one of the first restaurants that opened in the beautiful port of Fontvielle and whose size and reputation grew very quickly.


In 2001, my father and mother arrived in Monaco with 20 years of experience in this wonderful world of catering.

It is undoubtedly next to Luciano, one of the greatest masters who brought the new cuisine to Umbria, our native Italian region, that my father and mother had the most extraordinary experiences, including a Michelin star in 1984.


It was in 2012 that the Amici Miei restaurant became entirely part of our family, when my parents Giorgio and Donatella acquired the majority of the company.

It is from this moment that my brother, my husband and, after a few years, myself, were able to get together with my parents so that this experience could become even more wonderful.


The union of the family for the success of this project was determining and the chance to surround ourselves with a team that has accompanied us for more than 10 years even more so.

In 2021, new projects concerning the owner of the walls obliged us to move so that this splendid restaurant opens its doors to you today.

The location changes but the concept remains the same.

Simplicity, smile, family welcome and fresh products.

The legs of the mamma remain surely our hobbyhorse. From Bigoli with lobster to Ravioli with truffle and porcini mushrooms prepared by hand with a lot of love and patience. The mother has always spent her days behind the stove, we don't see her much but she is the pillar of our company.

My husband has been working alongside my mother for 10 years, not only looking for the freshest products on the market but also making desserts, of which he has become an expert!

My father and I will welcome you and advise you on your choices always with a smile in order to give you an unforgettable memory.

In our specialties not to forget the salad of Artichokes, the sardines in Saor, the Anchovies Marinated house and still Wolf in crust of salt, Gambas Flambé to the Cognac and Tagliata of Tuna with its sauce to the mint.
